For Intermediate and Advanced Students to apply for this Course, experience in the postures is necessary. AshtangaVinyasa Students who are finding difficulty in certain asanas from the 1st and 2nd series will find this course beneficial. This Course also helps one to sit longer in meditation.
BACK BENDING COURSE: in this practice, the back becomes flexible and strong,enabling one to sit longer in meditation. Practice includes Back Bending Asanas frombeginners to advance. The course starts with simple back bending asanas like Ardha Chakrasana, Setubandasana, Urdhva Dhanurasana, Shalabasana A,B & C, Bekasana, Bhujangasana, Dhanurasana, Ustrasana, Laguvajrasana, Kapotasana, Ekapada
Rajakapotasana, and continues till Rajakapotasana, Poorna Shalabhasana, Ganda Bherundasana etc. The practice will be with the complimentary practice like twisting, forward bending, Balancing Asanas, and breathing techniques.
The classes are conducted in small groups, individual attention being the priority.
HIP-OPENING COURSE: Suitable for practitioners finding difficulty in doing asanas like Utthita Hasta Padan
gustasana, Ardha Baddha Padmottanasana, Virabhadrasana, Trianga Mukhaikapada Paschimottanasana, Marichyasana, A, B, C, & D,. Bhujapidasana, Kurmasana, Supta Kurmasana, Garbapindasana, Kukkutasana, BaddaKonasana, Upavishta Konasana, Supta Padangustasana, A, B, & C, Padmasana, Pashasana
, Krounchasana, Ardha Matsyendrasana, Eka Pada Sirshasana, Dwi Pada Sirshasana, Yoga Nidrasana, Tittibasana,Vatayanasana, etc.. The course will help students to get into these kind of asanas through connected practice from a variety of other simple asanas. During the course, students will work with one direction with the help of other aspects.
PRANAYAMA COURSE: The Course covers the basic to advanced pranayamas, as well as the practice of Basic Pranayama regularly.The practice will be conducted for half an hour, daily.

Yoga India is delighted to be able to introduce the long awaited Four weeks Advance Yoga course from December 2010. This course has been specially designed to give Yoga Students the opportunity for personal development and to intensively deepen their own practice. The course will cover strong asana practice, pranayama, meditation and chanting.
1. What is the duration of the Advance Yoga Course?
The course duration is 4 weeks.
2. How many intakes are there in a year?
There are only 4 intakes a year.
3. When are the Course dates?
The Advance Yoga Course will be held in March, June, September and December each year. For actual enrolment dates and deadlines, please email yogaindia@gmail.com
4. How many students are accepted on each intake?
Only 21 Students will be accepted on each course, early booking is strongly advised to secure your place.
5. How do I qualify to enroll in the Advance Yoga Course?
You will need to have completed Min of one year of Yoga Practice of any style, TTC with Yoga India, or minimum three months of Foundation Course in YOGA INDIA to enroll for this course.
6. I am a Yoga Alliance certified teacher, but did not take my TTC with Yoga India. Can I still enroll in the Advance Yoga Course?
Yes. You can.
7. What is covered in the Advance Yoga Course?
Two asana classes, pranayama, chanting and meditation daily.
8. Will there be any written and practical exams at the end of the course?
No.
9. Will a Course Manual be provided?
Information Book will be provided and Students need to have Light on Yoga by B.K.S Iyengar.
10. Will any certification be given after completing the Advance Yoga Course?
No, although the course will offer you strong personal development and you will take away with you many new ideas and a much deeper practice.
11. How much is the course fee?
The course fee Rs 30,000.
12. How do I register and pay for the fees?
Please send a request letter with your Yoga Experience and Background. Application Form will be sent you. We will forward you instructions on fee remittance. In order to secure your place on the YOGA INDIA Advance Yoga Course full tuition fees, in Indian Rupees, need to be paid in advance. Fees once paid will not be refunded nor transferred under any circumstances.
